I have had something similar with orzo pasta. Unusual and good.

I have never heard of Frog Eye Salad until I saw your recipe. I made it for an Independence Day Cookout and it was a big hit with everyone. Good thing it makes a lot, because I saw folks going back for seconds and thirds. Thanks so much for sharing. It will definitely be one of my go to recipes for pot lucks and big crowds.

I love this salad, although we do not call it that... My mother's one all the time requested salad and I was just talking bout it..

Funny, surfing recipes I saw this. Actually, I just heard of this last Sat. at a car cruse. I wonder if the macaroni is readily available or only at a speciality store. I'm going to try this, two times in the same week it is a must be........and we used to call pearl tapioca pudding fish eye ............calla
