Why didn't I buy a roaster oven when I was raising my kids. It cooked the turkey perfectly!!!!

I bought the Oster one from Walmart and made our whole thanksgiving in it. My oven went out, I baked all of my pies, it did great and then all of the sides and then put the ham in it. I also got a fryer for the turkey. I had no problems with anything not browning, pies, mac n cheese, it works great
