Default Roaster Ovens

Ok first off I'm not sure if this is where I am to post this. But am thinking of getting
one of these for my mil. She said she had one at one time but it never browned
her turkey so she took it back. Then she went to a yard sale and someone said that
it did. Do they really brown turkeys well? I read a review and someone said that
they had basted it with olive oil first. But other reviews say that you need to put it
in the oven for the last 20 to 30 min.

The one I made browned, but I did keep basting it during cooking.

I bought one last year for $39 and it browned the turkey & I never basted it! It was one of the best turkeys, the house stayed cool and I had the oven for other things!

My son-in-law uses one every year and it does a great job. Go for it!

We use it for thanksgiving for the overflow turkey breast. Ours doesn't brown the skin but we brush it with a mixture of kitchen bouquet and butter so it looks pretty. The meat is delicious. It cooks pretty fast.

I use my roaster oven for turkey. I place the turkey in a cooking bag. It browns nicely.

Could someone post a link to a roaster oven that works well? I am clueless about them!
