Using canned biscuits

I tried making little tarts, found the recipe on the Pillsbury web site. The dough was not cooked through on the bottom, the sides and top were almost burnt. The apple pie filling was good, so I just scooped off the top and filling, put it on plates with ice cream and called it a cobbler.

I only buy the ones they call "grands" and use them to make wiener wraps for DH when he does something special since they are his addiction and he has High blood pressure, so they are only for a treat a couple times a year.

I tried the canned biscuits on pig-in-the-blanket and other toppings and it was never completely done. Agree with Tartan....I just use Bisquik or Jiffy and also like to hand press or roll and cut the biscuits.
