    I keep them. I can't tell you how many times I have used items in a different way than what I originally intended to. I can't see tossing stuff and then ending up rebuying it.

    Good to know. Right now I don't need any thread as I found some on sale when a LQS was moving so I'm good for now, but I've been sewing quite a bit lately so that might not last that long!
