Just a tip if anyone is needle turning - i found if I starched my fabric before marking it to cut it made it a little easier.

Thank you all for your kind words...the only reason I stayed consistent with the embroidery floss is to keep it simple - I spend quite a bit of time arguing with myself about what fabric will work...
