this weekend, before the snow, I moved by hand and a motorized large wheelbarrow contraption about 5 cubic yards of compost. Worked my butt off (I wish!). When I came in, I still had to make breakfast. I asked my DH, if I'm the farmer, who's the wife and where's my food? LOL

I see my husband has a twin halfway around the world. We're in the same fix except we have snow and mud, now. Good luck.

NOT HAPPY. I am trying to get the garden in order we have had so much rain and the weeds are here by the millions so I do a little bit each day. I found a few shrubs he missed and some that are regrowing. Sorry but the sewing has been put on hold till the weeds are under control. we have fire season starting soon so the weeds take priority, BOO HOO. But all is not lost I made some shelves for mt quilting room and I am slowly getting some order in there so i will post pics soon.

I'd probably have to rake that tree with a chain saw--problem solved forever.

Gee, I don't know if your fall (autumn) season is worse with dead leaves all over the ground during the season or our Hawaii weather which makes some leaves all over the ground all year long. LOL Either way....it's my job to rake since over the years, no one else in the family would do it...but I do love a clean looking yard.

shoot, i'd like to be in my sewing room. I've been cutting limbs off our trees, gathering broken limbs and branches from the snow storm. and yesterday i mixed up and poured some concrete around the corners of our garage.
I want to be in my sewing room! more limbs to cut down or the next snow storm will have them laying on the power line again.
