Cheese, what a cute block for Anna! Loving it. That is going to be such a charming quilt.
I just finished the chemo quilt. All that is left is the label. I wanted to take it to my quilt group meeting tonight so I stitched the binding all late morning and afternoon. As soon as I get the new owner's info from my granddaughter, I will add the label and off it will go to my GD at Purdue University tomorrow.
I love the backing fabric I picked out, if I can brag just a little. It is a perfect icy blue and I wish I had yards and yards of it.
Can't believe I made a quilt that does not contain even one 2.5" square! Wonder of wonders. Tee-Hee-Hee.
No blocks today but I printed patterns for my 12" Block file and have several in the queue for tomorrow's efforts. I'll not pretend I am going to make one later this evening. I just won't happen.

Thanks Lstew! I love the block! And, I made a block for you today as well. Hope it's not too busy...
The second one is a simple block for GramE. I can't believe I didn't pull the yellow out of the polka dots...since that's my favorite color. But I saw this pink moda marble and went with that.
Janice...I resized Lstew's block twice. Hope it's not too big.

Michelle-quilts, I use the no waste method and it works very well for me if I remember to mark and sew very carefully. I actually love making flying geese now. I’m not a fan of specialty rulers and find my regular rulers work just fine for most of the sewing I do.
Great new blocks, Lstew and MQ! I love mine. Thank you, Lstew! I think I’m going to make the 20th block for myself now.
I finished my color block quilt. Yay! The binding and I did battle but I won the war. The quilt is Not perfect but it’s done!

Beautiful block you made for yourself. precision points, wow.
Good morning, Stars! I just finished catching up on all the group chatter over my morning coffee. Yesterday I had a frightful migraine, throwing up sick with it, so I had a no screen day. But I'm doing better today.
SBG, I'm glad your surgery went well and you can even sew a bit. Keep the ice handy!
Terri, I'm sorry to hear of your daughter's MIL's sudden passing. It can be a real shock for everyone close to her. Sending hugs!
I made one block on Saturday for Mariposa, called "Whoopsy Daisy". I hope you like it.

Beautiful daisy block NZ, so glad you are feeling better today.
Michelle, happy that you are enjoying this swap, you are a true Boomer if you are already thinking about your next fabric when this swap hasn't ended yet!
Janice that's a beautiful quilt, love everything about it.
This block is for Janice and it was inspired by Libster. This was a block she made from her last couple of Booms and she even had it for her avatar at one time.

It was a nice day for blocks! Cheese, love the Sweetheart block.
Janice, I really love your red block! There are some patterns that just look best in one color...
Terri, pretty block for Mariposa.
WMUT, I love your chemo quilt. The stars are pretty and the colors, divine.
I've been sewing linen pillow covers...in pairs. Tomorrow I hope to get back on my Burgoyne Surrounded blocks.
