Good morning, more or less. I’ve got a head cold. Glad it’s this week and not next.

SBG, I fixed your blocks in the gallery. Thanks for the heads up. Anyone else spot any gallery goofs?

WMUTeach, if you wish to do multiples of the same block, it’s your prerogative. Blocks are always maker’s choice. It’s been done before.

Have a good day.

Good morning, ladies, I tried to post earlier in the week and also had issues. I could get to the site and read the post, but when I hit reply I lost the site stating there was an error.

The last two are Sewbizgirl and MJ. These took the most thought process and I hope they work for you. Sewbizgirl is called the Page from the Photo album and MJ is The Owls or sitting here sewing it, I think it looks like hot cocoa with marshmallows and steam on top!
Beautiful blocks

Poor lighting but.....what ever! A better photo when "really" finished.
I loved working with two color blocks and they make stunning quilt.

This is a beautiful reminder of a sweet quilty friend.

I have the Juki 2010 and the grace small quilting frame. I love my set up.

I spent the rainy days making mug rugs and pot holders for Xmas gifts. The African pot holders are for us, as my Day of the Dead ones got Burned. I’m trying not to out live my fabric but I think its hopeless. Several older quilters gave me their stash when they moved into nursing homes. I gave a lot away when we made masks in the pandemic but I still have a lot left.

Any way these are what I made: 10 mug rugs and 9 pot holders. I didn’t include the duplicates. A good rainy day project that took me almost 3 days. I don’t know how y’all sew so fast.
Beautiful small projects. I love to give a mug rug with some special tea as gifts.

Her Normal Rockwell block is the second block and it is based on something I saw in Quilter's Cache as a way to frame things up but I changed the pattern to something less complicated for me. I auditioned lots of options and I am sending back a bunch of those to you in case you want them. I love the picture frame that others created using the faces from this fabric.

Ibex, these blocks are great, I see both of mine and they are stunning. Thank you very much. Wonderful way to finish up.

GramE, your package is out for delivery today. It’s coming early!

I’ve been so pleased with the blocks I’ve seen as it pertains to block size. You know I sample a handful from each package and I have yet to find one more than a smidgen off size. Woo hoo! You all have really stepped it up! Thank you for being conscientious about your sizes. Great job, Roses.

Sorting has started and it’s going well. Woo hoo.

GramE, your package arrived and I am all set to finish the sort in a couple of days. I am, unfortunately, under the weather and while I hoped to get the blocks out sooner, I'm shooting for Monday which is still ahead of schedule. Woo hoo to the group for being so good as to get the blocks to me on time!

I'm going back to bed! Enjoy your weekend.

Janice hope you are feeling better soon. Very frustrating when you have your time all plained out and you don’t feel good.

Sorry you are under the weather, Janice. Just bundle up, drink tea, and rest. We can certainly wait a few days until you are feeling better. It's just a relief to know all the blocks are delivered to you! Hope you feel better soon.

Janice, I’m quite experienced in ” under the weather “. I’d say focus on feeling better. Don’t try to rush your recovery. This time of year is known for under the weather so taking care of yourself has priority over taking care of business. You will feel better sorting those baggies at full strength.

I’m glad my pkg arrived in 3 days, not the 4-5 they were expecting. Get better soon, not for blocks sake, but for your own wellbeing. ❤️

Janice, I hope you feel better soon!

I am hoping to piece together one of my previous BOOM block collections as soon as my semester ends. It is time to practice setting my blocks. Thank you all, again, for the fun. I cannot stress enough how working on this project has been helping me through life's stressful situations. You all are very kind and supportive. Thank you for being part of my quilting tribe!
