I have a Janome 6019 that is several years old and it still sews as good as the day I bought it. I am looking at a Janome Horizon that I want because of the larger harp. I love Janomes.

Absolutely my favorite....have had a Janome Memory Craft 4000 for many years, then a serger and now a brand new Memory Craft 9500 for embroidery and all kinds of sewing. Wonderful machines!

I have an MB4. She's runnimg in another room right now. Love it. She has some quirks including I have to lubricate her and clean the bobbin area which is not difficult but she's 3 now and has only been back for service once. I set up embroideries with 4 colors loaded and next 4 ready, get the baby monitor so I know when she stops and do chores or sew with small Janome while she works. She's not picky about thread and bobbins can be changed without removing the hoop. Only complaint is commercial needles don't have flat shank so they have to be carefully changed to make sure the eye points the right way but with 4 they don't dull up as quickly.

I had a basic model that gave me nothing but trouble. I know others love theirs, but I can't recommend them.

I really like my Janome. I have had all brands, really. Still have my Viking D1 and like it, but use it mostly for embroidery. I have a 6600 that is my work horse. I bought it after using a friends smaller Janome while at her house in the mtns. I have had it 2 yrs and no problems, except the needle threader fell off. I didnt use it anyway, so I havent tried to put it back on.

WOW, I finally found someone who has a 9500 Memory Craft. I was beginning to think had the only one ever made LOL. This is the machine I purchased about 4 years ago and I love it.

I have had Janome machines for the last 15 years. Currently, I have the 11000 and the Horizon. I love them both and wouldn't swap them for any other!
