Well I've got my tropical runner mostly cut, except the fabric I forgot I hadn't washed (oops!) and it's in the washer now. Um, I'm still deciding on a design for a side swap, but think I'm close. I have to see if I have everything for this design I like. Dunno nuttin about no chicky blocks, and I've somehow missed the batik swap too.

11 we need 22~ time to go sing a song in a couple other places everyone else go do the same we can pied pipper them in yes we can! people just need to go so what was swapped last time to get a good idea of what the average swap was (unlike our fearsome leader here who swapped a monster item most of us swapped smaller things so dont you new to the swappers panic). The chat is so good here you can't not come and join and be part of it. happy chats and life chats and quilty chats..

I am making my tropical runner today. Start to end. It will get done! my own list lets see:
1 quilt for quilters (top finished back finished needs quilting)
1 tropical runner for my swap
    1 mug rug no rush
1 doll quilt for april finished and mailing today
    2 fq swaps mailed
    1 batik swap 18 blocks
3 blocks left for boom Pacific
dustysmommas secret home decor cant start yet no partner!
2 quilts one Christmas 1/2 done top one halloween blocks coming in not sewn together
1 baby quilt due mailed a puppy quilt just the other day to them from jaba
boom diamonds blocks to make into a quilt.

other than that I am bored silly. I like to be busy, to have projects to jump to. Like a spaz I have no patience to finish a big project all at once I go from one to the next to the next then back to the first and over to the last. eventually they all get finished I am never late (bell ring please!) and I am satisfied. so sign yourselfs up you can do it. it is fun. its colorful always. its creative for sure.

Are we sharing to-do lists? I have 3 weeks left of the semester and the prof that is overseeing my independent study for modern geometry says, "So, instead of a final, why don't you write me a 25 pg paper on fractal geometry?" SURE cause that's totally enough time to research a topic I have NEVER studied. Oy.

    Sewing-wise, my list is:
    (1) Quilt (Queen) for my nail lady by end of April
    (2) Wedding quilt due July 1, King-size, 8.5" HSTs in an off-center diamond pattern (I'm slowly working my way through 196 HST's... my goal is to sew & trim 10 per day - those are the hardest part)
    (3) Finish the blocks for one of my row robin groups
    (4) Start the row for my other row robin group
    (5) Make an initial row for a new row robin (different site)
    (6) A quilt that has been in holding for over 2 months now waiting on backordered fabric (for a client)
    (7) Put a wedding gift quilt on The Six (that's tomorrow's goal - we've got 6" of snow forecast on Sunday so I'm going to babysit The Six all day instead of going outside)

Le Brat, your list is funner. Mine is all work for other people.

Oh, no! There's another good swap to sign up. Why, oh why, do I do this. I know, I LOVE TO QUILT! Guess I am standing here in line waiting for it to post.

Here is my list of working projects:

    2 BOM's
    1 needlecase
    1 pincushion
1 travel bag with needlecase, pincushion and scissor keeper
    wall hanging
    mug rug
    These are just for swaps.

8 wall hangings for my parents, siblings, children, and cousins using the curtains from my great grandparents house. Their little house has been empty for 20+ years. I took the curtains down and washed them a few weeks ago. Since then the little house has been relocated.

oh relocated on purpose right? lol sounds like a few of us are sorta very busy! welcome to the group you will like us a whole bunch or run for cover one of the two for sure

dustysmomma but you get paid for your list right? your not doing this all for "fun"? I wouldnt mind being paid but think 3/4 of the fun would be lost for me. its a chore then. so yes my list wins not taking votes just issuing winners. me. lol.

posted my possibles for a runner for the tropical runner swap going on in anastasia's ended runner swap.. one we are doing til the real swap starts this weekend. sign ups sign ups! I need feedback which one feels more like the theme.. my partner likes flowers. just adding that for clarification but need her input and think she isnt a poster so maybe that wont happen.. ideas people ideas..

I posted my opinion. I got 260 of my 500 blocks cut today for 2.5" swap. I plan to finish this weekend.

LOL, I get paid for nothing to do with crafting. I have sold a couple bags I made here & there, but that's about all. That means I don't get paid for here either, but it's all for fun so it's worth it!

    Oh, my to do list:

    -2 swap runners
    -mug rug for swap
    -home decor swap
-tissue box holder by the 23rd
-wallet for my best friend by next Saturday
-been collecting fabric for a king size quilt, but now that I'm almost there, I don't like the design as much anymore
-Shape blankets for 2 of my 3rd cousins who just turned a yr old
-memory blanket of my dad's military career for my brother

I think that's it. Oh, I really need to make something for my sick uncle too.

wait its Kelly who is a quilter for hire that was who I should have put down sigh memories things only other people have I read it and fling it goes right out the window. long term is good short term is really really short term lol. it is what it is since I cant remember it rarely bothers me til much later then I think you DORK DUH and laugh cause well cant fix it so just laugh at it.

11 is 2 more than 9 last I checked so your getting there. maybe huge isnt so grand smaller is ok for us too you know just need an even number of players thats all. Its just getting people who can commit to turning something in and then actually doing that. Please dont sign up if your not going to complete your project one ends up with sad partners when this happens. Do you need any angel gifts for people who were ignored last time dustysmomma? any deadbeat non senders? you did state you would post the people who did not mail their items to their partners. I think this will discourage people from doing this in the future. just my two bits on that. in the mean time call in your angels girl ring ring angels anyone home??
