I keep all but the tiniest scraps. They can be whip stitched together and used------specially in smaller projects. Great for all the mug rug patterns we've seen recently, too.

It is 1 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/2 yards. I'm on my second package. It is made by Jeanne Harwood designs. www.heatpressbattingtogether.com. Also 100 percent made in the USA.

WOW! I also use them when large enough on my Swiffer Sweeper. They work great on the hardwood flooring in my studio if they're good quality cotton like Warm & Natural or Heirloom cotton! If fairly large, I baste them together for smaller wall hangings. I do a lot of free-motion quilting so basting is adequate. Now they even sell fusible on a roll specifically for joining batting strips! My smallest scraps go to doggie beds my guild makes for local animal rescue orgs. AND... I make my own cases for eyeglasses, pot holders, scissor holders, needle holders, coasters, etc. for gifts.

Insul-Brite is available at JoAnns. I never buy fabric there, but do get all my notions, books, etc. with coupons.

No, No, donate them to your local animal rescue center. They make "pillow case" beds for dogs and cats. If stitched in columns, they can even be washed and recycled.
