No confusion there other than maybe one too many zeros in the price.

[h=1]Wanted: I need someone to see me a pair of socks.[/h]I have some material. I just need someone to sew me a pair of socks. The material is sportswear material.

    How much would it cost?

I also have a singer sewing machine available.

The w and e keys are next to each other. Good job of fat fingering the keyboard and not catching it. At least they're not looking for someone to sow them a pair of socks. You have to work at it to make that mistake.
I am curious why they need a custom pair though..
The price on that 128 is pretty "optimistic". When you look at the sum of the parts, I would say somewhere in the $50 to $100 range would be a much more realistic price. I see a decent bentwood case and knee controller with the machine, that gets expensive quickly if you try to buy them on epay.

Donna I just noticed you live in RI. My wife grew up in Bristol and her family is still there. We've been to see them a couple times. I like it there.

Yah know, I corrected one of these nitwits once.... They very firmly informed my "ignorant butt" that that big wheel on the right is called a "hand wheel", so it is a hand machine, unlike the newer ones that has small skinny wheels there...

Wow, really? Seemed like a case of "I was told this so it must be true" and completely unwilling to hear otherwise. I sent them a link to my VSS site to show that i had a clue about what I was saying, and they said "our machine is different form all of those..." I quit... stupidity wins.
