Bought some stretchy headbands at the dollar store thinking they'd make easy socks. Then i cut them too short, sometimes my good ideas are not so. Good afterall. Back to the drawing board!

Nancia, ask for your DGD's socks that she has outgrown or lost the matching sock. They work really well. Too bad on the head bands.

This is a great idea. I just love all the outfits! I just posted on another thread where someone made a bunch of cute outfits for her 5 yr old DGD's doll. I used to have AG patterns for Molly and Kristen but gave them away when my DGGirls got older, they still have their dolls but no longer play with them as they are in their 20's and 30's. Never thought far enough ahead to think about great grandgirls coming along but know that all the pattern books carry 18" doll patterns.

My dgd is still too young to care about the dolls, but my some day dgd is totally into them as are a couple other special little girls (hey jayla and Marin!). And I love them! I bought a doll with a broken neck because she had roller skates! Is there no end??? Lol

We are AG fans too. My daughters have quite a few, thanks to my Mom & Sister. I have made hundreds of the dresses for all the little girls I knew, and now there are grandchilldren coming. AG is donating dolls to help victims of abuse. The Empire Guild is making doll quilts. Here are some sewbeadit & I donated. A boy doll? We can't wait!!
