We usually moved to a new house on the average every three months ha ha that way everything got dusted and cleaned before going into the new house :D
We've been in this house 8 1/2 years

I sure have enjoyed this thread. Got lots of ideas, too.

What is Krud Klutter? It sure sounds like something I need. A lot of.

Its just the 2 of us...DH is Mr. Tidy and I'm the pig...but I try. I vacuum several times a week, but the dust is a whole 'nother story....With 3 cats in the house and a gravel road outside well...that lovely soft patina on all my furniture...I just call it a protective coating and leave it at that.

But I gotta ask ya'll...have you seen those things made out of microfiber that you are supposed to put on your feet and walk around and they would clean the floor if you have tile/hardwood, etc??/ I saw them at Wally's...all I could think was....lawsuit.....

HAH!!! I bought them for all my family, DIL's, parents, me.
Somebody must have seen me coming and put them out in the aisle really quick. "Hurry, here she comes!!!!" I knew as soon as I slipped my foot in that they weren't going to work
And, sure enough, they don't.

Great & easy way to clean your microwave...Boil a cup of water and leave it in the microwave about 3-5 min….then remove and wipe down the insides……..Walla it’s nice and clean

Krud Kutter is a cleaning agent that you can buy at home depot.
They sell it by the gallon jug.

A little goes a long way with this stuff.

I do the same thing!!! I also start cleaning as soon as I wake up in the morning and grab the clothes basket on the way. I fill the water for the coffee makers and as its making coffee I am filling the dishwasher, than loading the laundry. It takes a few seconds and its done. I clean 15 mins here and there during the day that way it does not feel like a chore and the house stays clean. No mad rush.
