Pat P I left you another message - how to get into to the Reference charts.
I will leave it here if anyone else wants.
These are Reference Charts about how to use the accuquilt dies in a pattern that doesn't specify them.
These charts will show the finished size of the shape and then tell you what die or combination of dies to use to get to this shape that you want.
The first time I used my Accuquilt, I used a pattern specifically for it, so it helped me feel less insecure. (like I was trying to walk in a fog!)
Since then (and it only has been a few weeks that I have been doing this ) confidence builds with success.
Here is the path:
Go to Accuquilt.com
Go to HOME page
Look about halfway down on left side for FREE STUFF
Click on 'Reference Charts'
You will see where you can down load two different charts for free:
Cutting Equivilents Chart
Fabric Reference Chart ( shows how many layers to use of different kinds of fabrics)
If you do this and have trouble, please let me know, cause I want you to have success like I have, because it is so energizing! You can PM me if you want. I will check back on my computer periodically.

There is now an electric fabric cutter our called the Vagabond.
It will cut 12 layers at a time!
I'm getting one and am looking forward to not having to turn a handle.
The pinsandneedles1
yahoo group (kathy)
sells them for $199.00 which is 35% off the retail price. It is supposed to take the Accuquilt Dies and the Sizzix dies and others too.
If you want more information, let me know.

It does look like a suitcase, but I saw a very enthusiastic video (I was already considering it) that demonstrated it.
Tim Holtz is the one who invented. Type in Tim Holtz Vagabond in Google and go to where it says demo and watch him demo it. That might answer some questions.
There is another place I got info on it - from Kelly Jackson of "IHave a Notion" . She Demos it there. More informal, but as she says, 'real. Check them out.
Mine will be here on Feb 3. It is quiet and cuts 12 layers and the sizzix dies that have, like 5- 5" squares on one die would make 60 at once, if that is desired!
That is one example.
Let me know what you think,
