That is sad ... EVERY quilter deserves respect and encouragement with their efforts ... EVERY ONE has to start somewhere, obviously SOME folks don't remember THEIR OWN early quilts or less-than-great choices ! The guild prez needs to address the comments, and she needs to apologize. She may not be the right person to handle Show & Tell

I am amazed that some folks ever learned to walk, since they seem to always keep one foot in their mouth!!!!! I hope your friend does not pay attention to folks like that.

I can't believe anybody would be so hurtful. Apparently she wears her manners on her sleeve as the saying goes. I have never forgotten the lesson from my father. "Stand by your family. "If you can't say something kind, don't say anything."

I was so sad from reading about this.
I sure do hope they pulled that woman off to the side and let her know that her comment was unexceptable.

I am a nurse It is very TRUE They are not very nice to eacn other. I am an LPN and have been one for 24 yrs It makes me sick to think that the RNs that I have worked with think we can not do a DAMN thing when it comes to patient care. We are the RNs back bone, there eyes, there ears. I have thought about getting my RN but sometimes I think WHY & WHAT for if this is how the higher educatied people act NO THANKS I will do something else in the medical field
