I just set up the "2011 FARM HOUSE" slide show so we can watch as we go this month. I will check each day for new pictures, but if I accidently miss one, please let me know and I will add it in. We are getting more creative, so should be a lot of fun seeing them all.

Thank you for taking the time to start up the slide show. The blocks are lovely!

My FIL still lives in a house much like this one that my DH grew up in. His mom has a pink rose hedge and when we bought our old farm house ten years ago he planted a rose hedge for me.

The second picture is my oldest daughter reading a love letter in front of the rose hedge.
That is so lovely! Love the pic of your rose hedge and your daughter reading a love letter. How romantic..... :D

I used a blue roof like my grandparent's farm house.

I have spent the last 3 evenings on and and did a lot of un-sewing. It's a little wonky but I think it will be OK.

Sure looks plain after seeing all the embroidery and embellishments on all of the others. I'll have to see about adding some details and I think I'll add a border to bring it up to 12 inches.

But for now:

Love your block!! Absolutely stunning!
