Finish a block for Kassaundra. It’s my first attempt to paper piece. I looking for something a little different (for me) to make for Kass. This Tumbler block (#176 1000 Blocks) was just the one. Hope you like it. I was so thankful it was 12 1/2”, I wouldn’t know how to adjust it if it wasn’t. I lost a few points, but it’s crazy enough not to really notice.

One more block left for me, then I am done!

My last 2 are finished-a spool for Joanelizbay for all those empty spools we come up with and one for Billi-hope they are to everyones liking. I plan on mailing out on Monday!! I'll message that tracking number over when I get it!!

And speaking of Billi... I hope we hear something from her soon. It's so strange that her relative said she was 'fine' yet we can't find her anywhere. Very odd for her not to check in. I do hope everything is ok and there is some explanation for it that makes sense.

My last block...... what a mess. Total disclosure: This was the first block I started. Christmas fabric and just add WOW. How can I go wrong? Well, made a double sawtooth (lots of HST) and it turned out nice, but.... It was too big. And, you can’t really cut down this pattern, I tried and asked around, but decided to make another pattern. Sewbiz was gracious enough to send me some more fabric. Well, I knew I was going to have to incorporate some of the hst in new pattern, so I just winged it. Made my own pattern. Well, this one was too small. With a few adjustments (lots of ripping), it is “almost” 12.5”. Very close, but I’m going to ask Klaws for another chance. Hopefully she will have some extra Santa laying around and I’ll make another. Definitely from a published pattern!! I decided to post this one because..... we all make mistakes. Right? Klaws, you’ll be getting a PM frm me.

Great looking blocks ladies.

kass your skirt turned out very pretty. I have a reversible skirt I use for traveling. One side is black with a bright floral print and other side is black and cream. One skirt, 2 tops and I can wear it 4 different ways.

D Henson I also had one block I remade 3 times. Finally called uncle and asked for more fabric. Very discouraging.

Re: Billi. This “situation” is something I ponder every single day. I get emails about her on a regular basis, people are concerned. I’ve exhausted all avenues of contact short of getting on an airplane and knocking on her door and even that would be a problem since she’s moving residences. At this point, having been assured by a family member that all is ok, I’ve had to step back. Now we wait to see if she shows up, if she sends her blocks. A couple of months ago I would have said this would never happen, not with Billi. Inconceivable. Now, who knows?
