Happy Birthday, Teen. Your new home is shaping up. When do you plan on moving? The sky is awesome.
I have turkeys, too. They are fun to watch and they say that they eat TICS. I certainly hope so.

    Cathy!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Teen, may you have many many more!!

The statue depicts the battle between men and the sea. The man in the statue is laying bricks to keep the water out and the sea will always try and get back the land.

I was just reading their blog and the patterns were to be removed May 1st. So I guess they forgot somehow and I was lucky to be able to download them while they're still there.

Thank you for the b-day wishes!!!

I am moving from semi-country home to full-on country home so seeing wildlife is exciting. I can hunt in my own backyard, which is way cool (no offense to those who don't care for hunting). I hope the turkeys eat tics, too, and mosquitos, and ants, and.......lol! DH want to get a couple of goats to eat the acres of brush we have but I told him we would not be butchering. If I make friends...no way...

Anael....so glad you got the blocks from AQS before they disappeared. Will be a fun, fast quilt top to do. And it's a sampler...lol!!! Right up your alley. Very cool statue, btw. And neat story... Thanks for sharing.

Piddling around today and resting before the fun begins again tomorrow.

Lots of news on this board. Anael, I loved your pictures, especially the tulip fields. We used to live near Holland, Michigan, and they had a big tulip festival each spring. And that it an interesting story about the statue. Teen, happy belated birthday & glad to hear the construction is coming along so well. I'm sure you are eager to start this new chapter of your life. Macybaby, my husband & I used to have rental properties that we did remodeling on. I am glad that part of our lives is behind us!

Here's what happened in my sewing area over the weekend:

Donna, those are very pretty! I like how the fabric in M9 works together. Very soft and appealing (at least to me!)

I liked this one too Anael. I down loaded it and printed it out. But, I am not letting myself start anything new until I have a few more finishes under my belt. I love house blocks.
