I received my blocks Thursday. They were gorgeous. I’ve been a mentor to my friend Sara for the last two years. She was looking at the front and back of the blocks and was too intimidated to sign up for the next boom. She said maybe next year.
Beautiful work ladies. I’m. Going to have such a gorgeous quilt.
Im forgoing the trip to NY to let my vestibular system get better. Don’t feel too bad for me, I’m playing two hours of tennis today. Just didn’t want to take the chance of two flights arriving into three days of rains. Thanks for the encouragement to postpone this trip. My husband and son sat me down and read me the riot act. I’ll probably go next week.

I too, received my blocks. They are so beautiful! I have them on my design wall and am eager to get them put together, they are going to make such a beautiful quilt.

Oh my goodness - I just ironed the blocks - and every one is a perfect 12.5" - a first!! and the quality of sewing is out of the park. thank you. I am putting it together so I can bring it East with my. I plan on giving it to my SIL family for are farmers and have a produce stand in front of their house.
