I covered an old sofa cushion (given to me by a friend who got rid of her old furniture a couple of weeks ago) to use as a dog bed for my doxie this winter. It will give him 4 inches of insulation from the cold floor. Found som cheap flannel on ebay and it looks great now.

My bottom to this comfy chair.

Got some unexpected/surprising/a-bit-shocking news yesterday afternoon and am finding it hard to focus, care, stay awake, plan, do. I'll share it later.

Oh no, take care of yourself! Just breathe - the sewing will always keep. I hope everything is all right, or very soon will be.

I am finishing a quilt for our guild show. All I need to do is some hand embroidery to finish off the hand applique rabbits on the quilt. I really need to finish this weekend.

Thanks everyone. We knew it was coming (she had non-hodgkins lymphoma), but didn't expect it to be as quick as it was. She is in a better place and we know that, but she had been my mother-in-law for 40 years, so we were close. I was the daughter she never had. She just had 2 sons. But she's not suffering now and that's what matters. We will miss her, heal and go on.

Peace be with you and your family.

I will be doing the quilting on a quilt for our Church mini quilt show next month.

I'm working on a pink and white awareness quilt. Designed on my EQ6. Hope to get it pieced by tomarrow night.

I prewashed some new fqs & the fabric I need for the next quilt club blocks. Got some neat ideas while doing the fqs, so may have to play with them soon! Love it when that happens!
