They don't all go at all, some are modern, some are batiks, so I really can't use them all in a quilt, or it would be a horrid quilt. So I need smaller ideas. I have thought of table runners, but I don't really use them.

    Help!!!

    Thanks, in advance,

If you have smaller amounts you love, how about a purse? Then you can show off the pretty fabrics,

The Shadowbox quilt pattern is nice for showcasing beautiful but unrelated fabrics. Another one is the MSQC Falling Charms pattern.

make yourself something, a purse, wallet, totebag. tissue cover, so you can see it.
it's yours to keep. I can't cut or donate them either. so I make little things.
switch my wallet off, or make a pincushion for yourself. look for little things so
your fabs are around you all the time.

I use smaller quilts to throw over the back of a couch or a chair. We always have throws to cover ourselves in the winter. I like to be able to see some of the items that I really like. I do give most of my quilts to family. They all seem to love them. I've learned that when I use up my favorites I quickly find another piece of fabric to take it's place!

Maybe take a piece of each and make a postage stamp pattern pillow, so you can always remember the fabrics regardless of how you use the rest of it?

How about placemats? That way you could switch them out and enjoy your fabrics.

i have a pile of william morris fabrics i am saving for the perfect pattern, saving until my skills are honed, saving because i love them so and am scared to cut them. i agree that you can make quilts for other rooms of your house, for different seasons, so cuddling on the couch or jut to have. or you can just save your favorites forever and never have to justify it to anyone

Pillowcases are cool and I love the idea of a bed runner. I prefer square table toppers. That might be cool. Just pick your absolute favorite and pick a pattern and dig in.
