Your prices will easily generate sales.
I've made pet quilts, large and small, and sold them successfully (some at over $100 depending on size and complexity of pattern). A couple of things worth considering: use fleece on one side and wrap around fleece edges for binding. The fleece is warm and short-haired dogs (and cats) can appreciate that. Also, making bed runners for those dogs/cats who sleep at the foot of the bed can be popular. I always use a runner and we toss it in the wash weekly.
I also made fleece dog toys (just fill with polyfill and maybe add a squeaker in it). Fleece is pretty indestructible for 'most' dogs. Our dogs still have their fleece toys 5 years later and still play with them. They're lightweight so they can be tossed around the house without breaking things.
Pets LOVE quilts and have quite good taste. I've had several people reply about how their pets really like having their own quilts/beds/places to sit/rest without getting in trouble.
Good luck and have fun!

I think it is a good idea. My 14 year old lab likes rugs/quilts to lay on because she is having a hard time getting in/out of (and turning around 3 times) of the big plush dog beds now. They could also be used a placemats for the food/water bowls.

I am going to make a few larger ones for larger dogs....more of each will be needed, but so far, I am just using my scraps.
I consider it a donation to the guild anyway.

I think it's a good price. Most people want nice looking mats/blankets for their pets. they often purchase for family (DGKs and such), elderly friends love when they get things for their pets.

Maybe include a small little snack baggie of Cat/dog treats with each one... like 2 or 3 dog biscuits wrapped with plastic wrap and tied with a piece of Twine like you would for cookies.. You could Pin it to the Little Quilt... same with the Cat treats but they are smaller but include Couple Tablespoons...
These quilts are cute... ! !
