Yes I save a lot of patterns and everything else about quilting. I guess I should delete some.

There must be a name for this obsession, LOL.

Trust me -- retirement does NOT mean more time to quilt --

    great idea!

i save more patterns than i'll ever make. if pc slows down, store on cd's. i never make a image menu, it's way fun going thru & looking at them again. my biggest space user tho are all the pics i have in my "Idea" file

Count me in. Lately I've been printing up those I saved on my computer and then deleting them from the computer. I bought several notebooks I'm filling: one for complete quilt patterns, one for block patterns, one for quilting designs, another for techniques.

Yes, I am there also. I have stored hundreds of patterns on the computer. I have been printing out anything I actually am or in near future think I would use to put in my notebook.

I have been deleting a few when I think of it on my computer. Actually, something good for me to do some of today.

I save patterns on my computer in various places, in boxes in the cottage, and I purchase books or magazines if I like a pattern in them. I also collect quilting books. I don't collect recipes.

I have patterns and recipes galore saved in binders and on the computer. My excuse is that I like variety and choice. Boy, do I have them! I buy a few but not too many anymore. I enjoy having them and that is reason enough. Yes, I collect fabric also. When I die I know I can't take a U-haul but someone else can (and will)!
