Believe it or not, I only noticed Queen in the 90's. Now I have all their CD's, great to do housework or gardening by! LOVE 'em!

Didn't need to buy them, the record man gave me bunches every month. Working as a carhop in a small drive inn, I was always there when he came along-still remember his name, Jack Danials!!!That was over 45 years ago. Still have most of them that my kids haven't asked for. Still love Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino, and we had a small cafe up the road on 99 highway called Blueberry Hill. Always had blueberry pie and always had Blueberry Hill playing on the juke box. I was delighted to discover Fats Domino survived Katrina, loved his music.

Elvis, Donny, The Big Bopper, all were talents that can never be equaled by those today who cram a mike in their mouths and scream into it while shaking with what looks like some contagious disease. (Shows my age, doesn't it?) And no, don't have nor want nor have TV cable, too much noise.

I have a very old Bobby Vinton album so I'm guessing that could have been the first. Then it was the Beatles, Monkees, Elvis, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Beach Boys and most of the groups of the 60's & 70's. Still have them, gave them to my 19 year old son
