GramE I have nearly all that box cut down now! I saw the scraps with the Inklingo printing on the back. I remember when she introduced the method on the DJ list, oh so long ago

I have my bits on my working wall now. Mine will never be mistaken for Ringo, I made a wad of more 9-patches and my blocks are now more Tumalo Trail than anything else. Which was the center base for the recycled shirts I've put together for the reverse side.

I did it again, got lead astray by a pretty piece of fabric. I was all set to work all day on my Ringo's Sister, when the mail delivered a piece of fabric for a swap. It was all bold, and graphic and a stripe to boot. (hubba hubba) I stopped mid block, I was just going to "play" for a minute to see what the fabric could do ...................... by the end of the day I had two swap blocks and my RS block still in pieces. Good thing I'm more faithful to my husband than this quilt!!!!!! lol

I have finished my second batch of clue 3s. I decided to go ahead with Bonnie's layout with the neutral chevrons. They clashed with the bright blue setting triangles, so I will have to replace those with dark blue, even though there is no very dark blue in the body of the quilt. I tried several ideas for incorporating lighter blues into the setting triangles, but they just ended up looking cluttered. Today I hope to get the chevrons sewn end to end.

Thanks Rob. My supply of browns was almost depleted by this mystery. I'm still working on my "forever" basket quilt, so I <cough> must re-supply my stash ...... ...... ummmm ... of browns ....
