I'd like to see that also. Please.
Here is a pic of a quilt with a shark's teeth border. Sometimes there are two rows - one at each edge of the border facing each other.

Gorgeous quilt, Kathy. Thank you for the info. Not sure I had ever heard of sharks teeth border before. But I do like it.

ND and Kathy, your quilts are gorgeous.

I have to share something with you all. I was in my sewing room this morning working on tracing and cutting out the pieces for the next four blocks. My husband is sitting there with me and we are chatting about this and that..as I am cutting the pieces, I am laying them out on the background to make sure I am happy with the color arrangement, well, my hubby said that the one was going to be his favorite so far. I then said that I hope I can see improvement in my work on this blocks...I am really only satisfied with one of the four I did so far..and seriously considering redoing the other three if I see that I am improving...well, my husband goes and gets the done blocks and inspects them carefully and tells me that what I see and don't like is the "human factor" in the blocks. He went on to say that these imperfections are what will make the quilt special. How sweet is that!

Wish I could say this was my quilt, but it's a pic of one I found doing a search for shark's teeth. I figured a picture is really worth 1,000 words, especially in this case.

It is gorgeous, some of the flowers look as if they are 3-D

Don't they? I think they are rusched ones. I took a short, very brief lesson on rusching, but haven't done anything with that knowledge. I guess I'm just not into 3-D work. I try really hard to get my work to be board flat, so having something bulging on my block/quilt - well, not gonna like it. Now, trapunto - that's a different story. I'm going to be doing a whole cloth quilt soon (after all these irons are out of the fire) & there WILL be trapunto on that one!

I have a yearning to do a whole cloth, I love those. Maybe one day.
