I try to but with work and rushing at Christmas time to get everything wrapped, packaged and shipped on time, I have missed a few. I have two small quilt journals (2nd is just being started) where I place a picture and write up something about the quilt. Most of the time lately, I have been stuffing my notes (stickies mostly) used during the contruction of the quilt into the book and go on with the next quilt. I have gotten so disorganized in my old age.

Unfortunately no one ever mentioned doing this to me. Now I can't remember many of them. They were usually gifts or donation quilts. I so regret not taking pictures and keeping a log. Now I own a book I got marked down to do this in. However you could use any notebook or better yet a photo album of your projects/gifts.
I also wish I had done this with the Christmas ornaments I made and gave away, and the ones we bought special each year.

I take a picture and then keep it on Snapfish. One year I had a little flipbook made out of all of them. It was nice to keep in my purse.

I know what you mean but I am useless at journals to I have a web-shot page where most of my efforts are.

I try to at least take photos of both sides, including the label.

I don't keep a journal, but I take photos and store the photos in my personal account.

I only recently started keeping a quilting journal thanks to QB. I type it in a word document. I include the quilt, thoughts, ideas, feelings etc. along with pictures and progress of the quilt. I back this up on my flash drive frequently. Wish I had started doing this sooner.
