Years ago when I started quilting I got a small Quilt Registry book. There is a place for a picture, name of pattern, what fabrics were used, when started, when finished, how it was quilted, whether it was a gift or it was sold and to whom, and and other info you wish to add. I have missed a couple quilts that I sold, but have entered all the others. It is interesting to go back through. Some of them I had forgotten.

Maybe I'm an oddball but once they are done I barely remember making them. Once they are given, they aren't mine anymore.

I keep a spreadsheet with a number for every quilt or top I have made, quilted, or repaired, along with the year. Wish I had pics of all of them!!

I take pictures of each quilt. But I saw here somewhere. that you can make a wallhanging diary with all of the printed selvage
edges sewn together. I thought that was unique and hve started to do that too

I keep a journal with a picture, the date the quilt was finished, who it was for and the pattern or block name.

Since my very first quilt in '02, I have pictures as well as a description of every quilt I've made. (dimensions too)
(all in a photo album)
I am not organized with regular photos. All of them are thrown in a box. Hmmmm......

Yes, I take pictures and write the name of the pattern, who it was made for when it was made, the occassion etc. and Keep them in a book. I have a picture of every project I have made since I started quilting rather it be a quilt or a bag!!

We take pictures of the finished product and keep them on our computer, which IS backed up periodically. Since most of them have gone to close friends or family, we do get to "visit" most of them from time to time. Of course we also post the pictures here.
