So yummy good...I was up this morning @ 4:30...mixed this easy recipe and had hot bread by the time hubby woke. So quick and delicious hot w/butter! Thx for postings this. Edited to add that I also added vanilla!

thanks for the recipe. I'm going to try it today (have the ingredients on my grocery list). I live in high altitude.....since it doesn't take yeast, I'm assuming I don't have to adjust for high altitude? Also, mermaid, how much vanilla did you add?

It's been way too long since my house has smelled delicious with baking something......so I'm eager to do this today! Wish me luck!!!!!

fruitloop, thanks for the recipe. That was so easy to make and delicious! It's a keeper! I ended up making it in 2 small loaf pans. The first one was eaten up that evening. We are not eating off the 2nd one and I think it is even better the second day! Delicious and since there's no yeast, don't have to worry about the dough rising.

I added a splash of vanilla to the batter like mermaid suggested. I accidentally splashed some on me and all day I smelled so delicious! Thinking of putting just a dab of vanilla behind my ears each day.......will see what happens!

I've made this before when it was posted here in 2011. We love it. I make loaves of it for the holidays to give. Such a simple gift and it is much appreciated. I buy these to bake the bread in to give:

I bake it for us in a cast iron skillet to get a round coffee cake loaf. I add a white glaze icing on top. We like it better then yeast cinnamon rolls.

One by One, thank you for posting your information about using this recipe, and for the link to KA for the disposable pans.

Made this last night and took it round to my daughters today -- all the grandkids loved it and they want me to make them another one for Christmas !!! It was delicious.
I don't usually use "CUP " measurements here in the UK - has anyone translated the ingredients into grams or ounces please ? Thank you.
