I like it ,I think it is very manly and it will be very warm with the denim.Keep going he will love it.

I know what you are feeling... EVERY time I have tried to do "scrappy", I think "YUCK" or "TOO BUSY". I have finally learned what I consider to be an important lesson, though.

When I see other quilters' scrappy quilts, I love them. They may not always be my colors, or whatever, but I always like finished quilt. SOOOOOO the lesson is this:

When you look at something you are making (or have made), imagine it is someone else's work, then answer yourself HONESTLY, the way you would anyone else!

We are all our own worst critic, and we all need to STOP IT!! :oops:

Your quilt is looking TERRIFIC!! Don't change a thing, except your own critical thinking!! :lol: :thumbup:

I love the way you are using the demin to set the blocks together. It is very well done and a very manly quilt. Your son will love it.

This quilt got finished at some point by the original poster .... however, I went back some seven pages and didn't see the finished product, so I am thinking that she put up another thread to show it off ... sorry that I don't have the time to do the search for it. <wave>
