Hi Ladies! I'm down 4/10 of a lb since last week, total of 6 lbs for January. I see the rest of you are doing FANTASIC!
I chopped another 2 mins off my regular hill run this week, WooHoo! I won't have my Grndson this week, so I am planning on training hard! Oh, I picked up this new( to me) yoga tape at the 2nd hand store; WOW, that thing is challenging! my tricepts are so sore, and I didn't get thru the whole thing. It's done by Rodney Yee, Yu(?) I think it's called yoga for strenght. Great workout!

Hi Quilting Granny, When we travel, I always head right to a local market. We only eat 1 meal a day 'out' the rest are prepared in room, Don't get me wrong ILOVE to eat out! but, really I get tired of the choices, waiting to be seated, served, etc, etc. If we drive, I pack most of what we eat in a large cooler in the trunk, frozen; we take a smaller cooler to keep in the car, what ever we're eating that day goes into the smaller cooler. We have a 2 burner hot plate I have a med size bag I pack the untinsels, plates, etc. Big money saver, and I think we eat healthier that way. plus there's the bonus of picnicing in some of the most beautiful places ever.

I was bad. I started at 145 and I'm 144. Maybe it was the chocolate covered pretzels, or maybe the bag of almond M+Ms I kept in my desk and ate in two days. I'm making changes in what I eat when so I never get to that starving state. Sigh... I've kept up with my sit-ups though--130 several times a week. I only want to get to 138...so near, yet so far.

If I do this every month, in 2016 I'll only weigh 5 lbs! I'll be the incredible, shrinking, quilter! Maybe I'll slow down after 2013...

Keep going girls!
The incredible shrinking quilter!!

Great job on 105 blood sugar! and normal blood pressure! The changes you are making are helping, I can tell. Congratulations on your weight loss and healthy changes.

Lots of motivation and support here. Glad to have my quilty friends to turn to. No pressure.
Forgot to weigh myself in class last night.
My trailer floors here at home tend to be squishy and I have only one hard surface that isn't, but I lost 5 lbs. Now 1 lb at a time until I feel more comfortable. I have about 40-45 lbs to go.
Too cold to walk too far. We are to get around 1 1/2 feet more of snow starting tom. Too icy to walk, too. Stretching here I come.
