This seems to be a very inspirational thread. Lots being accomplished! Sorry to hear some are under the weather.

I’ve been keeping at my UFO king size quilt for DD and DSonIL. I have the quilt top pieced and need to order batting and backing. I also have 3 pillow shams pieced and sandwiched. I will be hand quilting it in the evenings, so once it’s ready for that step, I should have a chance to focus my studio time on other UFOs.

Keep up the good work everyone. I love seeing your completed projects!

I think I'm gonna live...not just me sick, but DH, DS, DDIL, and the 5 Grands. All in various stages now. Managed to make a huge batch of homemade chicken noodle soup...sent most of it home to DDIL. Meanwhile cows to milk, calves and heifers to feed. We've managed through it.

tkhooper I'm intrigued by your art quilt project...I need to create some UFO's

I was just wondering if I should start a thread for that book. See if anyone else wanted to do the exercises and 9"x 12" quilts. We meet once a month so there is still plenty of time to do it online and be in tandem with the group. They were showing their work for chapter 1 in March and the next meeting isn't until April 8th. What do you think?

I'll bring in my notebook next time I come in and share the lessons I've completed.

The stained glass butterfly top got folded up and put in the basket. I need some advice on that one. Maybe I'll take it to class tomorrow and see if one of the ladies can put me on to how I should do it. I love the top but it is a time consuming mess right now.

This was started last year as a leader/ender project. I'm so glad I'm putting this finished top in the church quilting box tomorrow! They will make it into the finished quilt.

I adapted this pattern from one that used smaller squares and only used a section of the pattern. I used 4" squares that my church quilting group had cut. I should have used a different part of the pattern so I could have had a complete diamond in the top. Oh well. I still like it.

Connie: Love the geometric black and white with the pops of color. Really inspiring.

Judy: So nice. That has been one of the bucket list quilts for so long that the ink is starting to fade. Also think its great that you put some quilting history on the label. Great job.
