How many of you keep track of your quilts?

I have not done a good job of keeping track of the quilts I've made and I'm resolving to do better! Even if it's a picture that I store on the computer - at least it will have a rough date on it for when I made it.

it takes just a few extra seconds and then if you were gone tomorrow, someone would know!

I take pictures and usually make notes to whom they are given or for what charity...
but, a week ago the hard drive on my computer went and I lost almost all the photos.........would you believe that I was going to back them all up that very week.
Oh well, I guess I will just have to start a new album with any new projects...
but yes, it is so good to have a record of your work.....and a good backup system.

I have a computer program that I love. You can add pictures and all the info you want as well as make labels cards, and print out album pages. Here's the link the web site if your interested: http://www.quiltalbum.com/

I take photos of each quilt. I recently purchased an album so I can get them in one place. Now need to do it. LOL
I also keep a spreadsheet to record how many I make for Labor of Love, Miracle Quilts, Quilts for Kids and other charities. Just for count. I am at 37.
I just have a list of family members that have my quilts.

I have a loose leaf binder with sheet protectors that I insert computer pictures of the quilts I have made and the the notes of thanks I have received. I am so glad I followed this advice. When I decide to browse through I am amazed at how many and how lovely the quilts are. Didn't think so at the time I made them. :-)
