I have had that same experience - men at my door, in a pickup truck, selling meat......I tell them I'm a VEGETARIAN!!! They just don't know what to say, so they leave. ;-)

They have come through here a few times until hubby got the point across not to come back! No way to tell where they got the meat, if it's contaminated, stolen or even what kind of meat! No way am I touching any of it!

My husband bought 7 packages early this summer. He got an excellent deal and the steaks are real nice. They are vacuum sealed and we were given an invoice and card with name and phone number.

I have seen it many times here in California. Great meat, never had a problem. You can even sign up for regular deliveries.

Yes! MEAT!!!!

Why on earth would I buy MEAT from some strange dude driving around in a pick up truck selling meat door to door??

Honestly. I stood there in my drive way with my mouth agape when the guy said he was selling MEAT. He was standing there holding a package of steaks (at least he said they were steak) wrapped in butcher paper.

Have any of you seen this yet??

I'm just ... stupified.
THEY USED TO COME HERE WITH VERY DIRTY GREASY LOOKING FINGERNAIL AND I ALWAYS TURNED THEM AWAY.DON'T KNOW ABOUT PEOPLE LIKE THAT.
