Mistake at JF...feeling a little guilty
#34
I married a Catholic, DD and grands are Catholic. I go to Mass a lot. I was raised in the very strict Church of Christ one weekend and Southern Baptist the next weekend for over 15 years (parents divorced). I'm still a member of both of the churches and go to Mass. I can handle guilt. LOL

I think you have already got your answer. Guilt is a hard thing to handle. Most times if the store makes a mistake and you go back they thank you for being honest and you keep the item for what you paid. So you do the right thing they thank you and you can use that die guilt free.

I would have done what you did Red called and tried. You did.

I have oodles of non-Catholic friends who would definitely try to figure this out. Catholics aren't the only honest people and some of us Catholics can be dis-honest, too.
Glad you found your solution. I know the feeling of not sleeping at night because of something like that.
Happy Quilting.

Ditto! Perfectly stated. Besides, even if this was a mistake, I'm sure you have been on the receiving end of mistakes that cost you. I figure, leave it to the universe to sort out.
