Finished my blocks for my partner, sure hope she likes them, it was kinda an open theme.

Our battery back up on our computer fried, so no computer for a whole day. You would think the world came to an end for DH, but I am like, so can't we live without a computer for one day. (well, I did miss my partners email and I think she thought I forgot about her), but all is good now, we are up and running.

Today is my birthday, and I have a whole homemade carrot cake to eat, hugs to my DH for that. Hey, Jean you coming over for coffee and cake!!!!!!

    Happy Monday everyone.

moonwork you WORE Me out just reading about your adventures.. yikes. I hope life around you gets easier and that the family is on the mend. croup is not a fun thing at all.. my daughter had whooping cough when she was little scared the living daylights out of me. I pray the little one heals fast as does your sister.

oksewnsew pulled the camera over here this morning only to have no clue what I did with the little memory card holder that plugs into the computer. its always on the coffee table. sigh.. now to find it I did take pictures like promised.. I hate when things like this happen! if you would like to post for me I would appreciate it you probably took a much better picture of my Tom Turkey. gosh he is cute and the ornies too please if you beat me to it. I am in love with those lace ornaments big time.

I finished my partner's block yesterday so it will be in the mail today. I hope she likes it.
I wish I could write like the rest of you do, you really help to start my morning off. I'll write a bunch of stuff, reread it and tell myself boy that sounds dumb and erase the whole thing.
Anyway, good morning all and have a great day!

Robert, try this - go to top of page, right side, see THREAD TOOLS? Hold pointer on it, items pull down, click on SUBSCRIBE TO THIS THREAD.... See if that works for you...If that doesn't do it, then not sure what's up..;o)

    Hugs

Thank you Fire Chief for the complement. It is likewise. I am working on the table runners with your awesome stars. Hope all is well back there. Anytime you want to do a extra swap let me know. Any snow yet?
Doing extra swap with my New York Diva Dotty! She is the bomb.
    Talk to you soon,

I started my partners block yesterday, she wants a string block made with floral fabrics. I discovered I don't have a lot of floral fabrics but mustered up enough to get started. This is a first for me so I hope I do a good job for her. Anybody have any suggestions for making it perfect?
