Funny, I was just reading up on the past "center of the American glove making industry", Gloversville, NY. Ismacs description of 46K1 glove machine:
"Piqué" stitch (two-thread, double-chain stitch). Combined top-feed and vibrating presser. 5 3/4" clear to right of needle. Speed 700spm. Narrow "post bed" for stitching fingers of gloves.

I have a White rotary in bad shape that I will probably paint a color other than black. If a paint job keeps a machine in service instead of being scrapped, it's not a bad thing.
