    Pretty pretty Joan

i planned on sewing all day and I did. Just not what I expected. 11 y o Granddaughter is here and we are making her brother a Birthday banner. He loves the color orange and sports, Abby picked a screaming bright orange for the bo and a very bright soccer print for the ladies. She is making it but so far other then picking the colors and making the templates for the ladies Grams has been pretty busy. I don't care it's great just to spendvtimecwith her. Will try and get a picture tomorrow

Me too Bee, beautiful block and fabric, love the lilacs!
Enoy the moments terriamn! My grandgaughter's are all grown and in their mid twenties but sure miss spending time with them. Love it when Tiffanie, the youngest of the two, comes to visit to quilt with grandma, she thinks's it's an awesome hobby and a fun thing to do and I'm so happy she loves it! Wish my great grand daughter's lived closer, only get to see them once a year.

I really didn't think I would have a chance to do a block today, but I did get LJD's done to my surprise. A basket full of flowers.

Joan you have been busy pretty blocks, the purple in Mollys is so pretty.
Nice friendship star FG the little boxes are nice and straight very pretty.
Kass great basket of flowers did you work that one out on your own or did you find it someplace?

So I found the time between chores to get a block done this is for Flowergurl it posed its own set of challenges since it was a orange/gold non focus fabric. and kind of tough to "showcase" in a single block. Like you I love the reds browns and golds of fall and after looking at your other fabrics decided you needed a sunflower. The fabric you sent is the most used fabric in the flower but I really had to use others too it just didn't look right with just one color of petals. I hope I got your colors right.
