I am really enjoying all the pictures, especially the older ones. My family have a ton of old pictures, my Daddy was a good amateur photographer and he copied all of the old ones. Several were tin types and one is on glass.
After I posted my Mother's picture I thought I should have posted my Grannie who taught me to quilt and crochet. My Mother taught me to sew.
So here is a picture of Grannie - Maude Parsons Woffard - and just to show how diverse she was a picture of her grocery store in Pitcher OK in the 1920's.

Here is a picture of my husbands adopted mom Betty May and my husband Charles. Mom was my best friend and was always there when I needed her. She died from a hemorrhagic stroke a week before Christmas 2009 and died Christmas. I have her cane she is using which belonged to Her grandpa. Mom is 73 in this picture, my husband is 52.

Here is a picture of my mother, Alice, when she was about 17. Mama was 17 went she met Daddy. She died 14 years ago. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss her.

mom has been gone for 14 years I still miss her she taught me to sew and SHE and my grand mother quilted all by hand I inherited about 13-15 quilts and love everyone of them. Mamaw has passed away also only 6.5 years ago I have loved seeing all of the great moms on this board. Happy mothers Day I have a son but I am afraid Sons Dont always remember Mothers day until they are older than 23 as far as I can tell.
