Thank you everyone. The person said it was negotiable pricing. When I talked to him on the phone he said that his wife was a horder. She kept it in 18 gallon totes in the house and porch and organized/labeled. I might see if he would let us buy one truck load for $ 250, and NOT all three lol. I'll let you know what happens.

I would take a good look at the fabric 1st and ask questions where it has been stored etc before you buy (unless you know the person). You don't want to get stuck if it is no good.

I could possibly understand a woman stealing that much fabric but, NOT A MAN that doesn't sew or quilt. Do what you think best, there are some negative poeple on this site. Try to understand he may need the money, since his wife died.

There is no way I would buy that much fabric at one time regardless of how good it possibly is. If I did, I could then be considered a hoarder!! I would much rather spend that money buying things I know that I would love and USE!
