When our Wal-Mart removed fabric a year ago, I purchased all their black fabric. It was a great quality, and no one seemed interested in it. I paid .50 a yard for about 30 yards of several different black on black and solid black fabrics! I think that I was very lucky. I have a goodly amount of good quality blacks to use when I need it!

I see lots of beautiful materials on line but always afraid they won't be so beautiful when I get them. Are you happy with the Internet orders?

WOW, what a smart lady. I went to another little town yesterday with a Wal-mart that has material. Didn't have time to really check it out good but it didn't seem to be a good quality that I did see. Will be going back when I have more time to check close.

Thanks for the tip about Keepsake Quilting. I have been afraid to order from the Internet. Scared it would come with out a good quality. Nice to hear from someone that is happy with it. Going to check it out now.

There really are all different colors of "black". Try and buy what you need at one time.

I have not been disappointed yet! KQ's Amish black is very nice quality and a real black, black if you know what I mean. Washes up nice to and doesn't fade.

I've been disappointed in both JoAnn's and Hancock's lately.
