What kind of laundry soap do you use??

I use Tide liquid for most of the laundry and Tide powdered with bleach for the whites and my husband's work jeans. I find that the powder is stronger than the liquid (with bleach) I''ve tried both. My husband works in construction so this is a necessity.

The scent is what gets me. I get a headache walking down the detergent aisle. I use all free and clear. I didn't know Downy had scent free fabric softener. Might have to try it.

My youngest son is an eczema ball if we do not follow a regiment. We use All Free liquid and can not use the Tide one. We all actually brake out from Tide. If you have a front loader washing machine besure to use the HE type made for front loaders as the other one might not rinse out as well. You can also add some plain white vinegar in the fabric softner slot. It will help wash out the last of the soap residue. I also think the liquid washes out better then powder.
Besure to check the fiber content of your son's clothing and sheets. Mine can only wear 100 percent cotton.
