As for the Singer sewing machine in the bedroom, you might consider it "I love it machine" as she is a "lady in waiting" for re-furbishing. The treadle I use most is upstairs in my loft, a Singer model 115, made in 1915.

I quickly read through your note to get a look at the quilt and thought to myself "those blocks look like birds". Well duh. At least you know they look authentic and you really did do a fantastic job on the quilt and the quilting.
