    I like the black sashing. Seems to frame the blocks. Great blocks!!

    I love secondary patterns and love the idea or the white sashing with little friendship star in the center. The pattern looks fairly simple, but did you find it somewhere or did you make it up on your own? This looks perfect to use up my charm squares.

    Actually, I like it either way. I really like your bloock pattern; I don't think I have ever seen it before. However, I think your choice should be determined by the quilting you plan to do. If you have something intricate planned for the secondary pattern (negative space) I would go for no sashing. To use a white sashing would change the geometry of the secondary pattern. This is a nice dilemma to have because you can't go wrong. I would think the black border would be a great finish. Please don't forget to show us your final choice.

    I like it better with the sashing. Brings out the colors of the block.

    Yes for sashing which by giving the eyes a break enhances the interesting fabrics in each block.
