French Dip sandwiches with coleslaw (homemade, of course) and LOTS of sweet iced tea! Oh, and potato-chip cookies for dessert. :)

We've had Bible School this week so tonight was something quick--sub sandwiches.

Lean cuisine - yest the dreaded low cal diet. It is hot here too and a/c just isnt enough...Looking forward to fresh fruit from my trees if the bears don't steal it all..

My husband and I went out tonight to a new Thai restaurant in the neighboring town. He had BBQ chicken and I had chicken curry (not a good day for chickens). Had a nice slow ride thru the neighborhoods and back home. Perfect ending to a blessed day.

I miss the bay area. I grew up there!

What heat? Here in N. Calif it's 10-20 degrees cooler than usual for August. High today about 69 in Napa. We haven't had any summer yet. Hope it comes soon--usually August and Sept.
DH and I went out to Mimi's Cafe for dinner (our excuse to hit Joanne's for me and the Comic Book Shop for him). I had
a cup of corn chowder, 1/2 a dinner roll and 3 crab fritters.
Took home the other 4 and 1/2 dinner roll.

Sent me some warm weather!

Yes, you're right Joanie2. I had to turn the heater on yesterday to take a shower and my husband turned it on when he got up this morning! Who stole our summer?!! I want it back. No questions asked.
