My mother used to make this all the time and our whole family loves it. My daughters call it "Green Stuff". My youngest daughter has made it for potlucks where the works, and now she gets requests to bring it.

Yummm ... Haven't had this in Forever ... we used to call it "Fluff", it was at every picnic and family dinner. I also liked the Watergate Cake from back in the 70's. I LOVE pistachio, don't know why I haven't made these anymore ?!! On my shopping list !

Does this bring back memories from way back when...it was taken to every potluck, get-together, etc., for years. Thanks for the memories.

You might like one with 1 orange jello mixed in 1 carton of cottage cheese and 1 can of mandarin oranges and 1 cool whip.

What is the difference between Watergate Salad and Ambrosia?
    Have I confused the names?

Thanks. This is my DIL's favorite and I've never had the recipe, so now I can make it sometime when they're here.
