We can also send a letter thanking them for doing this. Won't they be shocked to get masses of letters about this? And might even add more to your work stash.
Ramona,
I've hesitated to give out the name of this company as they were approached by another member of this board rather than me, and I felt that they might also be inundated with similar requests from every corner....I didn't want to be responsible for opening that flood gate for them, as I've been a shop owner and know already how hard they actually do work for community and giving.

But it would be so wonderful to bless them with letters of appreciation as I'm sure my own heartfelt one to the management could never be enough to express how appreciated their gift was! I'm torn between respecting privacy and wanting to shout it from the rooftops, you know?

Jan in VA
Companies are inundated with request all the time, they have become experts at determining who is more deserving, knowing their name may cause more requests, but it would probably also increase sales, cos I think a lot of this board's members would support this company as a thank you for their support, and who knows, maybe it will encourage other companies to also donate. Keep up the good work Jan in VA, your thank you was well written, it brought tears to my eyes. Thank You.

"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured in your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38 I've found this to be true. Love the sewing terms: measured, pressed, running (stitch)!
Merry Christmas, Everyone

Often, God just gives us the idea, and the faith that He will give the rest in time. What a wonderful example of faith. God Bless you, and especially the men who received the fruit of your labor. God knew, when the pieces were being made, exactly which man would receive it. And you have brought it all together as an example to all of us, who occasionally feel overwhelmed that with God all things are possible. God Bless you!

WOW, I am truly amazed at the big hearts in this forum, to think of our troops, when I am sure they thought we had for gotton them. You people are truly an inspiration and may God reward you two-fold. I have tears in my eyes still over Jan's letter. What a wonderful human being you are. Thank You for everything you have done.

Merry Christmas

What is the batting "joining tape"?

How far are you from Raleigh, N.C,. or Ashburn, Va? Perhaps I could come and help.

I thank you for being you and helping our service men.you bring a happy tear to my eye and a big smile to my heart. I am honored to be on this loving board It's just wonderful. just a thought sad one . But what happens if you don't get enough quilts. How do they decide who does and who dosent' get one. Well we wont worry about that lets just sew are hearts out and get them all a blanket.
