Mine is wallpapered with one painted accent wall. I'd recommend a lighter neutral color. Maybe cream.

Hello, I would keep it light, it will help you with color choices, and make the room brighter to sew.
Good luck, that is my 2 cents.

Mine is a soft shade of spring green. My favorite time of year when everything gets renewed. It makes me feel that way when I'm in there. It is both soothing and energizing if that's possible. Most people that come into this room stay a long time.

Take ur favorite fabric to lowes and have them match one or two of the colors in it. Do 3 wlls a light and one a darker color.

I would stick with something neutral like cream, a pale creamy yellow or pale green.

My sewing room is chocolate brown with white furniture - white molding - white curtains with my first quilt of chocolate with white Gardenias. Very small room, but I do find "brown" is more of a neutral than I ever thought as the five quilts that I have made would all have worked in that room. Yes, its different!

Something neutral so that it doesn't distort the colors of your fabrics when the light reflects off the walls. Dark is best (because it absorbs light) but a bit dreary for a room.

I would also do a light sage. Any green tone is soothing and earthy and good for the persons comfort. Also, since it is an earth tone (I believe) it should not interfer with the colors of materials; look at nature. But you should also paint a color that you like to be in. I also always paint my ceiling with same color as my walls as I feel white closes in and wall color uplifts. Just my own likes. Good luck picking your color and ENJOY your quilting room.

Whats your favorite color? I'd keep it light/pastel. The room will seem larger and nice and airy, as apossed to a darker shade. I wouldn't paint it white, to stark and colorless. A white room always seems like a 'cold' room to me.
